From the Office of

His Profound Sagacity, The Philosopher General

{Jurisdiction: Sol 3}

Official Pronouncements:

  1. "And because the world is clearly not what it should be, it's an aggressive unloving world, we are frightened of perfection.  And there are many contemporary artists who make things and then break them, they twist them and they mutilate them.  It gives them control.  It takes that terrible fear of the unreality of perfection away from them."  Sr. Wendy Beckett

  2. To every great rule there are always exceptions.  Honor the exceptions but don't forget the rule.  Many truths are statistical.

  3. You can not lift yourself up by putting others down.

  4. Forget about good intentions, the road to hell is paved with bad assumptions.

Peevish Outbursts:

  1. Ridiculous saying:  "Whoever does not learn from history is doomed to repeat it."  Human nature has not changed over the course of the existence of man, so how would history?  It's always repeating; how could it not?

  2. Critics and many who are called "experts," especially those with an axe to grind, are some of the most asinine and/or corrupt people in the world.

  3. How self-deluded and phony does one have to be in order to convince oneself of being something which one is not?

  4.  Hypocrisy is the hallmark of evil.  It is the devil's most commonly used and useful tool, and the one most easily used against the unsophisticated.

  5. Evil people accuse others of the very things they're most guilty of.  It's proactively "The best defense is a good offense."  They give good offense.

  6. The United States has not eliminated slavery, it has merely changed its economic and legal forms so that now it can be called "freedom."  Sorry Abe, but it didn't work.

  7. Democrats who run for or have been President of the United States are not saints.  Some of them may be martyred but they're not saints.  They only appear to be saints by comparison.

  8. It is said that no two snowflakes are exactly alike.  How do we know that?  Has anyone ever compared every snowflake that exists, has existed in the past or will exist in the future with every other snowflake that exists, has existed in the past or will exist in the future?  Many things are alleged, even believed, for which no verification is possible.

  9. To be continued....
